Reto Speck
Reto is a Senior Researcher at the NIOD Institute for War, Holocaust and Genocide Studies, Amsterdam, and a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Digital Humanities, King’s College London. He is an intellectual historian with an interest in the history of historiography, digital humanities and archival theory. His work is particularly concerned with the digital transformation of historical and archival thought.
Since 2010 he has been active in the European Holocaust Research Infrastructure (EHRI) – a trans-national consortium with the aim to integrate Holocaust archives and research. Reto is a Co-Director of EHRI and the Scientific Coordinator of the EHRI Implementation Phase project which is establishing EHRI as a permanent organisation in the form of a European Research Infrastructure Consortium ( )
