Recently the Linguistic Data Interest Group (LDIG) of has started a campaign to encourage the use of data citation in linguistic research papers. CLARIN supports this initiative wholeheartedly that complements the work done in the SSHOC project on data-citation in the SSH and the analysis of citation facilities offered by the CLARIN centres. CLARIN will investigate how data citation can be further improved from the side of CLARIN centres.
