Location
The hotel is located directly above the Barcelona-Sants Train Station or Sants-Estació. The ground-floor entrance (see the red square in the picture below) is in Plaça de Joan Peiró. To find it, you need to exit the train station. This entrance has two elevators that take you directly to the hotel lobby there on the first floor. Once you find yourself at the train station Barcelona Sants, take one of the exits towards Pl. de Joan Peiró as indicated in the floor plan below. From there, take the ground-level entrance to Hotel Barceló Sants.
Arriving by Car
The hotel provides paid parking for hotel guests. If you would like to make use of this, we advise you to contact the hotel directly.
You can access the hotel by following the signs to the parking P Barceló Sants. The entrance to the parking is at level, and can be found on the corner between Plaça dels Països Catalans and Pg. Sant Antoni as shown in the picture below.
Arriving by Train or Metro
The regional train lines to the train station Barcelona Sants are R1 R2 R3 R4 R2S.
In addition, the train station is serviced by high-speed rails such as RENFE AVE, AVLO, and OUIGO operating across Spain, as well as internationally.
The metro lines passing through the train station Barcelona Sants (Sants-Estació) are Line 3 and Line 5 .
Tickets can be purchased online, at selling points within train stations, or from ticket machines available at both train and metro stations. If you want to travel across Barcelona throughout your stay, consider purchasing a Travel Card for 24h, 48h, or 72h.
Once you find yourself at the train station Barcelona Sants, take one of the exits towards Pl. de Joan Peiró as indicated in the floor plan below. From there, use the ground-level entrance to Hotel Barceló Sants.
Arriving by Plane
The hotel is located 12 km from the Barcelona El Prat Airport.
The hotel/conference venue can be reached in the following ways:
- Train (journey time: ~20 minutes)
- From the train station at El Prat Airport, Terminal 2 (T2), take the train line R2N, direction Estación de tren Sant Celoni. Get off at the third stop, station Barcelona-Sants. The hotel/conference venue is located directly above the train station.
- From the train station at El Prat Airport, Terminal 2 (T2), take the train line R2N, direction Estación de tren Sant Celoni. Get off at the third stop, station Barcelona-Sants. The hotel/conference venue is located directly above the train station.
- Aerobus + metro (journey time: ~30 minutes)
- From the bus station at El Prat Airport, Terminal 1 (T1), take the Aerobus A1, direction Pl. Catalunya - Andana Central. Get off at the first stop, Plaça España. In Pl. Espana, enter the metro station, and take the Metro line L3, direction Zona Universitària. Get off at the second stop, Sants Estació. From there walk about 300 m (around 5 minutes) towards the Barcelona-Sants train station. The hotel/conference venue is located directly above the train station.
- From the bus station at El Prat Airport, Terminal 2 (T2), take the Aerobus A2, direction Pl. Catalunya - Fontanella. Get off at the first stop, Plaça España. In Pl. Espana, enter the metro station, and take the Metro line L3, direction Zona Universitària. Get off at the second stop, Sants Estació. From there walk about 300 m (around 5 minutes) towards the Barcelona-Sants train station. The hotel/conference venue is located directly above the train station.

The restaurant is located less than 2 km from the conference venue.
The restaurant can be reached in the following ways:
- Walking (journey time: ~20 minutes)
- Head towards the Metro station Sants Estació. Cross the street, and take Av. de Josep Tarradellas while keeping to the left sidewalk (coming from Barcelona-Sants). Stay on Av. de Josep Tarradellas for 1.2 km, or until you reach the intersection with Carrer de Rita Bonnat (you can recognise it by a glass office building with the black and gold logo of the Grup Assisténcia). Once you find yourself on Carrer de Rita Bonnat, take the first right, street C/ de Loreto. Walk on C/ de Loreto for 80 m, and you will find the restaurant on your right, opposite the park in Plaça del Doctor Ignasi Barraquer.
- Public transport (journey time: ~15 minutes)
- Head towards the Metro station Sants Estació. From there, cross Plaça dels Països Catalans, and then cross C/ de Tarragona to reach the bus stop Av Roma - Tarragona. Here, board either bus 27, direction Roquetes, OR bus D40, direction Canyelles. Get off at the fourth stop, Josep Tarradellas - Av de Sarrià. Here, cross Av. de Josep Tarradellas, and turn right on Av. de Sarrià (you can recognise it by the offices of Caixa Bank). Once you are on Av. de Sarrià, take the first left, C/ de Loreto, crossing Av. de Sarrià. Walk on C/ de Loreto for 50 m, and you will find the restaurant on your left, opposite the park in Plaça del Doctor Ignasi Barraquer.
