Planned maintenance
- Tomorrow (30 January), between 8:00 and 8:30 CET the CLARIN discovery service will be unavailable due to maintenance.

Announcements like this can also be found at the status web page.
CLARIN Concept Registry
ISOcat is now replaced by the CCR. Read the whole story here. We will soon be updating the relevant sections on the Component Metadata page.
Planned phase-out old discovery service: end of February
As announced in November, the new CLARIN discovery service is available. As some centres are still using the old one (hosted at catalog.clarin.eu) the planned decomissioning of this service will be postponed to the end of February. Make sure to switch to the new one before that time!
Linked Open Metadata
The CLARIN-NL project CMD2RDF has setup a linked open data version of all harvested metadata. Read all about it.
FCS protocol extension
The Federated Content Search taskforce is discussing protocols and query languages. See the minutes of the previous meeting for details.
Supported File Formats
As a first attempt to gather a list of file formats that are supported by CLARIN centres there is now a wiki page with links to relevant lists. If you have such a list, please add it there. (no account? please look here)
Identity Federation news
Lithuania now has a federation, Estionia's Taat federation covers all main universities and CLARIN-PL has joined the national Pionier federation.
The new component registry
Good news from CLARIN-DK: Mitchell Seaton is refactoring the component registry front-end in the coming months; details are available in the workplan.
